Social Support
ARENAS is deeply committed to supporting the community. Our founder, Mr. Kevin Lam, has served as a consultant for various NGOs and social enterprises, assisting them with real estate and operational matters
We have a long-standing relationship with the Asian Academy for Sports and Fitness Professionals (AASFP). Introduced in 1992, their innovative and professional approach in delivering Sports Training Certification courses appealed to Kevin and thus began the facilitation of the delicate relationship between sports and retail in Hong Kong.
From 2025 to 2027, we will be the title sponsor in conducting a comprehensive survey focused on sports-related real estate in Hong Kong. Our organization played a pivotal role in supporting and contributing to the research, which explores the sport facilities real estate and how practitioners in the real estate sector leverage sports-related amenities and initiatives to enhance the experience and value of their properties.
Kevin is the honorary advisor for RunOurCity, a non-profit charity organisation focused on promoting activities to support vulnerable communities and foster a harmonious, inclusive society. Our event department, Zone A, has also partnered with them to provide a venue for their "Street Marathon" events.
Kevin is also the honorary advisor for Hong Kong Special Needs Sport Institute, a non-profit charity organisation focused on promoting sports activities to the Special Education Needs (SEN) community. He helped them secure the lease for their current location in Tsz Wan Shan Center, expanding their scope and influence on healthy active living for those with SEN. He is currently seeking new business collaboration and developments for the institute.
In 2021, Kevin supported a fundraising initiative for patients with spinal cord injuries by facilitating a partnership between wheelchair climber Lai Chi-wai, a former world No. 8-ranked rock climber, and Chinachem Group. Lai climbed Nina Tower in Tsuen Wan to raise funds for the University of Hong Kong's Spinal Cord Injury Treatment and Rehabilitation Services.
